If you read a whole book to get an understanding of your subject, use this format to credit the author.
The rules below apply to all four Highlander Way Bibliography formats:
--If a bibliography reference runs longer than a single line, INDENT the lines following it THREE SPACES. This is called "Hanging indention."
--If you have two authors, list one last name first and add the other normally using the word AND. (Petersen, Joseph and Marilyn Nelson.)
--If several authors are listed as well as an editor, list only the editor’s name instead of the authors’ and add "ed." after the name to indicate editor. (Wagner, Cheryl, ed.)
--Sometimes, instead of an author, a company name is credited for creating a book. You can substitute that company name for the author’s. (National Geographic Society.)
--Like reference sources and periodical articles, books can also be accessed electronically. Usually they are known as e-Books. Cite an e-Book exactly the way you would a printed book. If there are no pages given, just that information out.
